All provider data displayed by this tool is sourced from the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES), a public federal database maintained by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) under the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The NPPES data is published under 45 CFR Part 162, which mandates a standard National Provider Identifier for all covered healthcare entities. This data is in the public domain as federal government data.
